Berries provide a complex mix of low and high flavour notes, encouraging your little one to develop their taste buds. This recipe has been combined with pear to complement the berries sharpness.
As fruit does have a high sugar content, it is important to combine that sweetness with Coconut Water, Brown Rice and Quinoa. This retains the intense flavour of the fruit, whilst being balanced.
The story behind the recipe
We have purposefully used a high quantity of berries in this recipe to produce a depth of flavour for your little one to enjoy.
I chose Pear to complement the berries, as it reduces the sharpness of the berries.
It is perfect for breakfast or on the go. I also have found it to be a great compote to your morning yoghurt!
