| It has a rich savoury flavour making it an ideal choice where you want to add it straight from the jar to salads, sandwiches, rice or noodles,, etc. It will also take on the flavour of cooking sauces if you add it to curries, stews, casserole, etc. When pan fried it will brown and become chewier and get a little crispy. We suggest you should drain the jar through a sieve before using the seitan pieces - but keep the liquid for use as a stock for other meals! |
