We thought there were enough walnuts out there – until we tried them. Walnuts are bought in large quantities and stored in warehouses for months before they even hit the shelves, gradually losing flavour, energy, and texture.
In partnership with farmers in Transylvania, ‘the land beyond the forest’, we have produced walnuts in small batches. Once removed from shells, the kernels are sent right to you…moisture, taste, and nutrition value intact!
Walnuts are a source of polyunsaturated fatty acids, including the two essential fatty acids that our body cannot produce. These nuts, known as food for the brain, are also rich in ellagic acid, magnesium, and vitamin B-6.
