The first Fairtrade accredited winery in Lebanon is an association of small growers who switched to cultivating grapes when the government forced them to grub up their former crop- cannabis plants. This is the only wine they make and is a classic Lebanese red with a lovely ripe nose of blackberries truffle and cedar wood lots of rich juicy fruit and a nice tannic grip. Delicious with hearty food. Red Wines will be rated for body A ( light) - E ( heavy). Rating for this Wine D
