Late asparagus, thinner, longer and tastier than the cultivated kind, are grown from seed in the late spring. They add a delicious creaminess to risottos or an omelette or frittata. Our Sott'olios are made by small family-run food producers at harvest time using entirely fresh vegetables and made without the use of chemical additives or preservatives. Most importantly for their flavour and the health of consumers, the vegetables are preserved in extra virgin olive oil.
